Gallant Akitas, is a small Akita kennel in Indianapolis, IN run by the Rosas Family. Jessika has devoted all of her young adult life to learning about the Akita breed, studying pedigrees, and being mentored to ensure that she has the knowledge to preserve the Akita breed. Understanding lines and pedigrees is the most important part of producing a healthy, structurally sound, and well tempered Akita. Jessika has been blessed with many amazing mentors in the breed, who have devoted decades to preserving the breed. Jessika is currently a member of the Akita Club of America and serves as the Secretary for the Midwest Akita Club.

We only breed Champion, Health-Tested Akita's that benefit the future of this amazing breed. While we do raise show dogs for ourselves, we do not sell puppies to breeders or to be bred. We strive to produce healthy pets, with wonderful temperaments- not start up the next backyard breeder. We hold great pride in the wonderful lines we've been trusted with. When a breeder sells you a puppy, they entrust you with their legacy- we take that very seriously and only wish to make our mentors proud and to maintain the integrity of our kennel.
